Fireflies Lighting Design, led by lighting designer Becket Tundatil, proudly received the Legendary Lighting Support Award at PALM Expo 2025, held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai — recognizing our exceptional work on the HARMAN Live Arena, powered by Martin Professional Lights.
Lighting That Left a Mark
We were entrusted with a critical and highly creative task: delivering a timecoded lighting show that synced perfectly with the high-energy performances at HARMAN Live Arena. Despite receiving the final audio track late in the schedule, our team worked day and night to craft a show that stood out in every aspect — from precision cueing to powerful visual impact.
The Fireflies Studio Advantage
Before arriving on-site, we pre-programmed and visualized the entire lighting design in our own studio. Our in-house setup allowed us to:
- Plot the entire rig using real dimensions and fixture positions.
- Invite HARMAN’s team to our studio to witness the programming process live.
- Make real-time changes to the plot and positioning based on creative input and feedback.
This gave us a huge edge in achieving accuracy and creativity well before load-in day.
On-Site Execution & Real-Time Brilliance
Even with all the prep, live environments can bring surprises. Upon arrival at the venue, we noticed minor issues with fixture rotation and beam alignment. Without missing a beat, our team reprogrammed, fine-tuned, and recalibrated everything on the spot — ensuring that the lighting was absolutely flawless.
